We recruit App Testing Assistants across the United States to evaluate pre-release mobile applications on their personal devices. Our testers don't need technical backgrounds. We need authentic reactions from real users — the kind of feedback that automated testing tools simply can't provide.
What We Do
App developers partner with App Writing Board to run structured usability testing before their apps go live. We handle the recruitment, training, and coordination of testers — and we pay testers directly for their time and feedback.

The App Testing Assistant Role
Our core position is the App Testing Assistant — a flexible, entry-level contractor role open to anyone with a smartphone and at least 5 hours per week. No experience in tech, software, or writing is required. We provide full training and ongoing support to every tester we onboard.
